Most of our patients first come to us with a symptom they want to get rid of (think pain, loss of motion, numbness, headaches, tingling, gut issues etc). We feel fortunate to have the care options, technology, and expertise to improve or address most needs as they can make life not very enjoyable. However, we believe judging health by feeling alone can be misleading.
Through our in depth examination and review of findings process we work hard to educate our patients about the differences of how a person feels vs how a person functions. We aim to shift one's interpretation of health profile away from symptoms (or lack of symptoms) alone and redirect it towards function of the body as a whole. Our goal is to change the trajectory of their health by changing the way they measure wellness and care for their body. Most of the nerves within the nervous system (roughly 10%) do not sense pain. Therefore, up to 90% of the time, you may not know that you have life-damaging pressure on your nerves.
